There were only seven storms that year, Hurricane Andrew wasn't until August 16th and Frances formed 61 days after. The season effectively ended on the 27th of October.
Andrew was the only landfalling hurricane that year, and it was Cat 5.
Just ask the Homesteadians. "It only takes one."
