National Storm Center???

Anybody know anything about these people? Pardon me if it's previously been discussed here; I don't recall. And what would you say about the following article about Danny that just appeared in the Pensacola News Journal online? Sure seems pretty high- handed to me to say anything with such absolute certainty at this stage.
If you agree, and if you're registered on Facebook (I'm not), perhaps you'd be willing to post an article comment, maybe telling Tom St. Myer (brand new "Waterways" beat reporter here), what you think. It might help educate.
