Disturbance East of Florida becoming a little more interesting

An area of weak low pressure/surface trough appears to be slowly organizing. Visible imagery shows a low level swirl about 100 miles east of Great Abaco Island in the Bahamas, with minimal convection. However, along the northern side of the weak circulation, some increase in banding convection is underway. In addition, a somewhat broad, but identifiable circulation near the surface is evident with low level cumulus streaming towards the weak vortex.

Will monitor a bit more closely, as this is a sign of cyclogenesis. Upper air pattern is marginally conducive, but slowly improving, SST's are very warm, available deep layer moisture and shear is light. Lastly, a slow westward motion is likely with a mid level ridge to the north. This may stall as it nears eastern Florida.
