I live in Myrtle Beach, SC. This was a heavy rain event. Winds were of no problem here.
From Monday thru Thursday we had approx. 11.50 in. of rain...most of which came down Monday-Wednesday. We had been experiencing drought conditions before this.
Compare that to Hurricane Floyd in 1999.....were we had over 20 inches of rain within a 24 hour period....and the ground was already saturated before Floyd.
This was just a coule of rainy days.....no more no less. |
