It's getting well past 1900 UT which is peak nearby lightning for the region.  The first thing I notice is hispanolia looks like it's getting in the way of the theta t flow from the ITCZ which was so rich at the start of the loop presented here.  Consider that not only does hispanolia present mountains and significant air current flow issues for storms nearby, but also the island is not warm conductive saltwater--it's land, so electrical organization doesn't move to well in relation to it, either.

On spaceweather in relation to the storm no spots which is unfavorably for RI, xray continues quiet which is unfavorable , and the solar winds are quiet which is favorable.
