I can tell you one thing about that trough - the local NWS discussions from Wilmington change from time to time - as one discussion has it stalling out before reaching the coast, another has it stalling out at the coast and another has it sweeping off the coast; it varies from "run to run."

My local NWS mets rely heavily on the ECMWF and the GFS so I guess they're just reiterating what those models suggest because they never seem to add much in the way of experienced personal comments.

I guess we'll just have to watch the vapor loops until the next ECMWF comes out at lunch time.

My only personal interest in Bill is in the surf he'll generate along the coast (the closer he runs, the bigger the surf.) I certainly don't want a major hurricane to strike anyone, but if a Cat 1 hits New England or Canada - it's not going to be the end of the world; it'll just be nature doing its thing, and the folks up there will deal with it.
