I should note that's why I am still getting up throughout the night to check on how the surge is doing, in case I need to get to higher ground nearby. (and to make sure the storm passes my latitude sufficiently, which it is likely has just crossed between 12am and 1am EDT) The front entrance to my neighborhood floods easily. I took some measurements yesterday to help determine at what level it floods as well as what level my house would likely flood.
