Some neighbors were talking about gas today. I had heard about the contamination. Between that and the storm, I guess it's busy to get gas. That's usually the first thing on my list. I was near empty so I got it several days ago. I get mine from Shell. We don't like to use our credit card at the pump, so we buy gift cards for Shell and use that so that's all they can take if someone got it. (and even then, for one or two instances the money got gone and we got a refund from where we bought it, Publix)

I'm off to bed. I am going to evacuate to a parking garage nearby, unless the storm looks like it is more likely to be even closer. Then I might go even further inland. We'll bring what we want to take, and food, and we'll just go until we find one open or are out of the area. There's a variety of them around and further inland. I don't know what neighbors might evacuate. The ones I talked to are not, though some have options if needed. One will also go to a parking garage if needed. We wanted to be closer if possible so we can get back sooner. If there is flooding, you need to get started soon and it might be days before we are let back. We'll just make sure we're out before the surge comes as the front entrance to my neighborhood floods easily. If the storm looks like it will be closer and/or stronger, we'll just leave the area and head east. We'll be watching constantly when we get up. We've started freezing water in the freezer in case the power goes out. Adding bottles a little at a time as they freeze. I had a lot of pictures in collages on walls around the house and I forgot to take them down last time, so I took them out and packed them up too. Everything is in from outside. Stuff is up as high as we can throughout the house. I photographed and took video the outside of the house today. Will do the inside in the morning. What I am taking is ready to go.
