I think I am going to evacuate

Unless something radically changes in a positive direction, which isn't that likely, I'm going to evacuate. Let's put it this way, I am currently packing what's going and raising other things a few feet off the ground, in case the water level is only a few feet in the house and things stay intact enough that things a few feet up stay dry.
Over the past month or so I have done a massive spring cleaning. Donated a lot and threw away a lot. Was getting rid of a lot in case we ever moved soon or in case of a hurricane and I kind of reduced what I had so there wouldn't be much to lose. And I know what is important enough to take now that I have gone through it all.
I might not be on much. I'll have to reconsider bordering up possibly. It's just so much work and the main threat is water. So I don't know. But everything important will be out of the house anyway. Off to bed in about an hour after I finish up a few things. |
