Parts of Hispaniola are very susceptible to flooding, most especially Haiti due to deforestation. Hopefully Haiti doesn't get as much.

The heavy rainfall may produce areas of flash and urban flooding as well as river rises and mudslides. Across Hispaniola, significant and potentially life-threatening flash flooding is possible Tuesday into Wednesday."

Rainfall amounts of 4 to 8 inches, with isolated higher amounts up to 12 inches, will be possible across portions of Hispaniola."
It is quite busy out there with either active threats or recovering from previous impacts. From the Central Pacific (recovery from wildfires that were due in part to tropical activity), East Pacific (Hilary) and into the Atlantic. Three active storms or depressions and two other areas with high chances of development over the next 5 days.
