I'm not sure how easy it would be to get theta-e from a dropsonde. I took a look at the equation to get theta-e and I'm not sure if all that information would be available to calculate automatically. I don't know enough about it though.

In terms of a spreadsheet though for eyewall inner and outer temps, that is kind of available through the ATCF's "fix" folder, though you have to sort through a lot of other data as well.

The ATCF center fix folder:
ftp://ftp.tpc.ncep.noaa.gov/atcf/fix/

Here is a file about how to read it:
http://www.nrlmry.navy.mil/atcf_web/docs/database/new/newfdeck.txt

It contains aircraft data in it from all (probably all) the center fixes made by aircraft. You could open that comma delimited file in a spreadsheet program and simply delete all lines that were not AIRC (DRPS does not have a lot when it is there) and compare different data over time. You could add as the first row in the spreadsheet a label for what is in each column. (based on the file above that tells you what is in each and keeping in mind that everything would have to be AIRC in the file since each fix type has different data in each spreadsheet row, although a lot of the first columns have the same data)

I am finishing up a product that actually automatically decodes all that and adds it to a map. I still have to make a way to display data that does not have coordinates and am working on that now.

Here is an example of Hurricane Alex in the new product I am working on.
Simple Map - Just points, no popup window
Complex Map - With popup window with all decoded data
Google Earth file - And the complete version in Google Earth, which puts less load on my site since it is zipped up. (I will likely eventually have it so you can choose between good, fair and poor confidence points and also choose to connect them with a line designed to run only through the points you want)

I am still not sure if I will have a text display though. I was thinking about it, but the amount of data would be large. (It already is for the complete map version but I think it is still worth having it as an option, though the simple map will be the default option) I was originally thinking about letting people create a table of the data they want to view but I will likely not for now since that would be a lot of on demand processing. All the data would not export well to a spreadsheet since there is different items depending on the fix type and the columns could not be the same.

After I get the fix system done I'll be working on a non tropical project for the next six months but maybe after that I'll look toward doing some additional stuff with fix data.
