Jim, when you and I made our chicken suit wager years ago, I made it without the slightest hesitation that I would absolutely hold up my end of the bargain. In fact, I would have loved it, because, as you may recall, I wagered that I would drive to work in my chicken suit--which would have meant leaving the house and walking to my car (which then I had to park in the street at my apartment at that time, so I undoubtedly would have run across a few pedestrians on the way), and then sit in rush hour traffic in my chicken suit. I planned to do this equipped with a camera and a camcorder and envisioned myself posting everything here on the HC board--to be honest I thought I was going to lose because I'll take your expertise over mine any day (and still do.) That would have been a great blast for me (because I'm a little nuts). I had told my family about it as well and we all would have had fun with it (as you did). I admire you big time, man to man, for holding up your end of that wager when it turned out that I had won.
Anyway, I don't need to wager with you on this one, but I do want everyone here to remember that Jim held up his end of the bargain with--dare I say it--"flying" colors? |
