The 10% chance disturbance located just east of the antilles known as 97L is getting into 20-30 knots. Because of this , a closed low pressure center has not found and the convection popping up in the area of the disturbed area of weather is depressed because it won't develop into a named storm anytime soon. Over the next 48 hours , Invest 97L will continue to move off the west and northwest and very warm SST's around 29C will keep the convection going even in moderate to lame conditions for tropical development otherwise. Most guidance , brings tropical rains over Puerto Rico and the island and Hispanola.
