| SW CONUS cutoff-low anchored in place and creating a block for the mid CONUS. Surface high-pressure dome firmly in place as a result in the mid continent. 500mb cut-off low is forecast to spin-up in the Great Lakes and move east. Timing of it and strength of potential TC will determine recurve.    |
