I was just thinking about that this morning.
Maples all around here are already turning red.
I have a couple hummingbird feeders, and this last week there were no hummingbirds on it.
Before that, they would be draining the feeders dry.
Also, my dog has a very thick coat on him.
Last week, the 500mb CONUS forecast looked like something in mid-October and shear in the Tropical-Atlantic also just jumped a month.
It is like all of a sudden, there are big signs we could have a very early and hard winter.
