I don't know what the latest Euro is calling for - but it did pick Cape Hatteras two days ago.
Yes, it's an excellent model - but there's no need to get hung up over what model may or may not be "best." You gotta keep your eye on 'em all - especially when there's an outlier that might be seeing something the others miss.
Also, several models are related to the GFS so I thinkit tends to get "overweighted" so to speak.
Overall, the CMC is the "juiciest" model, while the GFS is more laid back. Many say the ECMWF Euro is the best, especially at medium range - and possibly it is - but to tell the truth, I don't much care either way.
