Celia was my first big brush. My cousins' home in Portland sustained severe damage. Carla ('61) was before my time, but still talked about, feared, and never recovered from when Celia did its RI and came in with greatest strength in the rear L. What were first thought to be tornados were later found to have been violent downbursts, a feature of this storm. Wild storm, no doubt a reason I'm here...
