Okay, maybe it is, if you are well prepared and able to get out of the area after. Charley was invigorating, and intriguing, but terrifying after, when we had time to really think about it and saw the destruction left behind.

We evacuated for Irma, but then couldn't get back in for over a week, because of inland flooding. Stayed for Ian and lived on what I termed "Arcadia Island", surrounded by the "Peace Ocean" for over a week, with it lapping at our toes. (We could have left right after, as it took the waters a while to come so far in, but traveling with a terminally ill cat is not an option, before or after a storm).
