vaccinated

by luck of the draw, and fitting criteria for Phase 1B in TX, I was able to get the J & J vaccine earlier this week, after signing up/registering in late Feb with Harris Co. Public Health. This was much earlier than I expected & I would urge everyone to register or sign up or check for their local availability. My shoulder is sore at the injection site, but not bruised or red. It's apparently a thicker product than the others so I can only surmise they need a larger needle? not sure though. I would have sufferred them using an equine-sized thing.

The only negative thing I have noticed is how some ppl are shaming others for getting it, making them feel like they are getting it before others more worthy, even some members of my own family. How I fit the criteria is between me and my Dr. & nobody else. My only advice to anyone wanting to be vaccinated is this: register, however that is done in your area. Help someone else who may need it register. More and more options are available every week, don't give up and don't wait for someone to do it for you. Also, take whichever vaccine option is available, that you approve of. I only chose J & J because it was offered at the closest location to me & was a 1-dose thing (I'm petrified of needles)

I wish you all well - cypress
