I didn't understand not going up on the 5 day chances either. I was actually surprised they went up in the overnight hours, and by 20% too. I think the GFS/GFDL might be weighing in on that being only 60%, but I didn't get why the 48hr/5 day matched. It's more likely to develop later rather than sooner. In my opinion, I think 60% would be good for 48 hours and 70% to 80% for 5 days. Since we're only talking about becoming a depression or higher for the chances, that's more what I would go with.
I just updated the Cesium recon display a couple minutes ago. I am trying to figure out how to update satellite imagery in the display automatically. I just need to figure out the code to properly destroy the current imagery displayed and reload new imagery every so often. In the meantime, I just made an update that allows satellite imagery to update when you refresh the page. (It will only update as often as every 5 minutes at the moment when refreshing the page due to a unique id I add so the server is not loading too much imagery.) That was the only tiny update. The satellite data comes from:

Eventually I am going to try to add the time too of the satellite imagery.
Plane took off at 9:14am EDT and is on the way. |
