I remember that one a little bit. As far as tides, that was about as bad as any tropical system that has been here in Tampa in the past few decades. I forget what the wind was like here, though I see in some places in Florida it was strong. In addition to the straight-line winds there were tornadoes too. Even some snow in some places too in Florida.
