SYNOPSIS 2015081700

P20L  96L  (NHC:  50% 2-day / 70% 5-day)
10N, 28W
700 hPa

ECMWF:  Another story change.  ECMWF has returned to simply tracking quickly to the west and stretching 96L zonally.  No longer trackable as a distinct pouch after two days.  After that, the zonal strip of vorticity breaks down into a few small vortices, but I can not tell which one, if any, is 96L.

GFS:  Story change.  The models have switched.  Now, GFS slows and intensifies 96L.  OW increases during the 60-84 hour period.

UKMET:

NAVGEM:

HWRF-GEN:

ECMWF   -8.0    0.0 track   60h
GFS     -3.0    0.9 track  120h
UKMET
NAVGEM
HWGEN
