We need our tropics back, We need Rain!!!!

The sad part of this year is no tropical moisture has benefited the south eastern U.S. We all look forward to that moisture to up our rain totals. The summer was very hot and dry here in the south east that blocked all storms from hitting the conus. The pattern still continues as even Florida seems to be off limits to any tropical moisture. Here in south east Tennessee we are 15 inches of rain down for the year and still climbing. I have not mowed the lawn in 4 months as it has died long ago. The trees have been dropping there leaves for months and the ground is now all dust. Fires are a real concern as now our dew points are very low. This is our seasonal dry time of year and the future dose not look promising for measurable rainfall. The weather is really messed up and plainly not normal by any measures. I am not alone as most of the south east is just as bad or worse. We need rain and our tropics back to normal as nature depends on that moisture.
