Trop Wave Consolidating & Amplifying

The trop wave at the 55-yard line, that the models are picking up on for genesis in the next day or two, is beginning to consolidate very nicely. It also appears to be starting a roll. MCS convection has persisted overnight as it interacts with shear from the ULL. Unfortunately, CIMSS data is down and nothing for the past 9 hrs. The MIMIC-TPW shows a very nice amplification of the wave and appears that it will have a good feed from the Carib as it amplifies and possibly spins up in the Bahamas.   |
