New England should understand that the upper trof, it's small and digging South behind the building ridge off the East coast is a big factor. Let's say Bill fights it and is still below 20N and 60W(as we all know that is the benchmark for getting most system to hit the U.S. at some point)  , then that is a problem.
If the trof can get to Bill and the storm is as far North as 25N, then Bill goes to the fishes. In my opinion from what I read from Joe, he is more to the South, but the real test is coming.  The 15N and 50 W point was just a bit to the North of that, but not enough, so Joe is holding steadfast.

Earlier today the UKMET and Canadian have this storm passing about 150 SE of ack, but the Canadian ensembles at midday have increased to 7 of 20 members even further west, with a Carolina look to them ( one even has FLorida. Very few models are east of 65 till at least 40 north. The trough is coming to interrupt Bill as we can see it digging and Bill has to respond by turning northwest. However once going by this, it then has free reign to become a massive, powerful atlantic storm. Then it is a a numbers game. If its as far west as 72 at 35 north, it will probably cross the Cape and hit on the Canada US border, king of like the trof phasing wit it. As far east as 68, they see ya later.
