looked he passed/is passing just North of it from the continuous wind plot....
Continuous Winds TIME (GMT) WDIR WSPD 1750 SSW ( 195 deg ) 34.4 kts 1740 SSW ( 207 deg ) 37.1 kts 1730 SW ( 228 deg ) 33.4 kts 1720 W ( 264 deg ) 24.7 kts 1710 NNW ( 335 deg ) 28.4 kts 1700 N ( 350 deg ) 43.9 kts Max 1 minute sustained wind so far is 50KTS, but this is his weak side if he truly is N of the bouy. Also windspeed measurements are not always accurate on bouy's this far out because of maintainance difficulties. Kicked up some 30 footers too. |
