Hey Jack Ruby, I have to say that I agree with you on the more westward track.  I think the high pressure ridge will be stronger than expected.  The rapid westerly movement will also tend to keep it more to the south.  I am curious about what might happen if it misses the trough all together.  One thing for certain, little Ana and big brother Bill have taken a huge bite out of what is left of the SAL.  Follow on systems will have a much easier time with SAL than did little Ana.  The moisture field associated with Bill is incredible, hopefully this is a fish storm if not the potential is there for major damage to any landfall he might make.
