from their "Summary" tab, currently:
Summary of Coastal Observations for Hurricane Idalia

As of 08/29/2023 08:00 CDT water levels along the Gulf coast of Florida and southeastern U.S. coast are slightly elevated. Water levels from Pensacola, FL including Tampa Bay and the Florida Keys to Springmaid Pier, SC generally range between 0.2 and 1.0 feet above normal tide levels.

In addition to any storm surge from Idalia, above normal astronomical high tides will be present over the next few days due to a perigean spring tide.

Winds speeds across western Florida and southeastern U.S. range between 5 and 10 knots with slightly higher gusts.

Water Level data are referenced to Mean Higher High Water (MHHW), a measure of the average highest tide in a day. Water levels above MHHW indicate that ground that is typically dry may be flooded. In most cases, the Minor, Moderate and Major flood impact levels displayed for each station have been established by the local National Weather Service (NWS) forecast office. For more information about the definition of these flood levels, please click About at the top of this product.

For additional real-time and historical inundation information for locations affected by this storm, please view the station's Inundation History page. For additional data and station information, please visit the Center for Operational Oceanographic Products & Services website.

For the latest NWS public advisory for this storm, please visit the National Hurricane Center (NHC) website or select Tropical Systems at the top of this product.
