The models are definitely showing a ramp up in activity.

GFS:

The where, and if, is uncertain on some of the storms they develop. Too far in the extended range and not consistent between runs or models when it comes to closer to home, except that something is possible to form in the western Gulf. Though it doesn't show much development in the GFS and Euro which is good. Hopefully you can get some rain.
