1918 MN fire

I saw several articles on the Hawaii fires comparing the tragedy to MN's fire. Here's some info on the MN fires, often referred to as the Cloquet or Moose Lake fire, it was actually many fires, some which merged

There was WWI going on and a flu epidemic and apparently some government suppression of news of the tragedy
