View of SpaceX/NASA Crew-2 mission from Tampa (Friday, April 23rd)

These just before sunrise launches can be spectacular, but this was the best I've ever seen here from Tampa. This was the Crew-2 mission from SpaceX and NASA that is sending four astronaut's to the International Space Station. It initially looked like a red dot, then you could see the trail behind it in red. After Stage 1 separated, the sun shining at that level then provided a spectacular view as Stage 2 continued on and Stage 1 spun around. Stage 1 eventually landed successfully on the drone ship.

I included a little bit of what it looked like at first and then pick back up when it started to get really spectacular. I didn't expect it to look quite this good, so I didn't bother using a tripod. I wish I had. I thought it might look pretty good up high since it was just before sunrise, but then I wasn't so sure as it got higher. Then it really did.
