People are being more cautious in Tampa. In some places. One place was wiping the credit card machine down after you use it. I went to vote today and one poll worker was using hand sanitizer and another wasn't. I have heard some stores, like CVS or Walgreens, might be having issues with having enough hand sanitizer, though they keep getting it in. That's based on the local news reporting that. But at Aldi's they had a lot of it this morning. People are using the hand wipes in stores that have them to wipe off shopping carts. But some stores still don't have those. The stores haven't specifically started that now, more of them over the past several years have just started doing that more.

I wouldn't say anyone is panicking around here. People are still out and about, eating at restaurants. I live next to a golf course and there was a whole bunch of people golfing. I haven't seen anyone with a mask. Surgical masks I don't think work well. You need the N95 masks and I don't think anyone has those. It seems that unless you really know what you're doing, a mask might not be a good idea. If it's bad enough to need a mask, people shouldn't be out. The mask has to fit well. You can't touch it. You have to put it on and take it off right. I think a mask is best if you get it, then you wear one so you don't give it to someone else if you must need to be around someone that doesn't have it. Or if you have to take care of someone that has it.

I think everyone though should have the basic supplies they need as if this was hurricane season already. Food and medicine, including prescriptions, for several weeks. And add some things to kill germs, like soap and hand sanitizer. If it starts getting worse, start limiting going out more. Supply chains are being disrupted, so even if you are able to go out just fine in your area, some things might start to run low. People shouldn't panic and buy up everything, just buy what you would need for several weeks.
