but none are perfect - also, each WFO may have used a different "start date/time" or "end date/time" for their storm total period
Multi-Radar/Multi-Sensor (MRMS) Flooded Locations and Simulated Hydrographs (FLASH) project at NOAA's National Severe Storms Lab & the University of Oklahoma http://flash.ou.edu/new/ https://blog.nssl.noaa.gov/flash/ https://twitter.com/MRMS_FLASH
Jordon Tessler tweeted an MRMS map estimate:
RAMMB/CIRA Slider also added some MRMS product options, but it's working funny for me again right now ----------MRMS PRODUCTS---------- MRMS Merged Base Reflectivity QC MRMS Reflectivity At Lowest Altitude MRMS Radar Precipitation Accumulation 1-hour MRMS Lightning Probability 0-30 minutes - NLDN MRMS CG Lightning Density 5-min - NLDN MRMS Surface Precipitation Type/Flag MRMS Radar Precipitation Rate
we only had about 3" where we are in Cypress, we were very lucky - totals varied greatly, even in rather short distances
all in all, a pretty hairy situation in our neck of the woods for a "waste of a name"
