I think the criteria for storm related deaths needs to change. Starting with a period 1 week prior to hurricane arrival when many have died or been injured just preparing alone. The period would end when all power & water is restored and all roofs are replaced this can be a year or longer. The stress alone for dealing with major hurricane hits causes numerous heart attacks and people falling off roofs,fires,suicide etc all should be in the count.
