I doubt seriously if this was even a hurricane at 2nd landfall 1st landfall not even worth mentioning hit swamps. All of the obs I saw in combination with chasers/news video were not hurricane force in Mississippi , I think this NHC graphic tells the story.

I suspect NHC will keep this as 85mph in the final report despite what recon said which are winds over open waters subject to either visual or sfmr which is questionable at times.
