Reminds me a lot of Hurricane Ida, that took nearly the same route and was squeezed between systems. Ida was better organized in the beginning but lost it before landfall on Dauphin Island, due to cold water and shear in November of that year.
Nate is still in prime season but that forward speed is keeping the brakes (somewhat) on him |
