That's the GFS run after he posted. I had not seen that yet. I was hoping maybe we were finally done with Jose and Maria other than a rip current threat. 18Z GFS has Maria threatening Outer Banks and Canada by passing very near them in that run.
I think Alabamaboy was talking about what the end of the GFS showed. 18Z shows something coming out of the SW Carib. 12Z had something coming from further east in the Carib. (run available when he posted) But that's really, really long term. And from run to run, the origin of that storm it shows changes completely, even though it ends up in 16 days near the same place. (western or central Cuba) I'm not sweating over anything two weeks out on the GFS.
I think they were talking about the last half of the hurricane season. I am about to watch Jim's video so I don't know for sure yet what Jim says.
