Take zero chances. I was sent to PR 3 days after Hugo left Charleston. We were put up at the El San Juan hotel and casino. Hugo had blown out all the windows on all floors and the wind ripped the drywall, carpet and light fixtures out of the hallways.

The Navy base at Roosevelt Roads was totaled. 3 comms towers on El Junco were twisted together like they were made of aluminum not steel.

Hopefully they had hardened things since Hugo

STAY SAFE when it is over because there were lots of looters after Hugo and gangs running the streets
