Not forecast to come anywhere near land.

View of today's 8pm early cycle models, 2pm late cycle models. A very long track as an invest. Each "L" is a 6 hour position.

You can also see the position of Sierra Leone which had deadly flooding and landslides. As an invest, this storm originated about there.

And for those wondering, TCLP and OCD5 are based on climatology. XTRP is just a simple extrapolation of past 12 hour motion. TABS would be for a weaker, shallower storm.

I've been updating the satellite page on my site. I now include information about GOES-16 imagery:
http://tropicalatlantic.com/satellite/
I still have a lot of work to do on that page and other info pages, not sure when I will get around to that.

I'm still working on upgrading the viewer here for GOES-16:
http://hurricanecity.com/custom-satellite/
In order to prevent errors I have to select either GOES-16 CONUS, GOES-16 Full Disk or default to the normal imagery. I have to select what the default should be based on the coordinates entered, as well as the zoom and imagery type.
