Still "DB" rather than "TD". As an error check I used to name anything that had the storm number assigned, but at no point was classified as a tropical depression or higher, as a tropical depression. That was because in the past new depressions were sometimes incorrectly labeled as a disturbance. Now I have to get rid of that check. Until then the model system incorrectly calls it a tropical depression. |
