Saturday's high was just 3 degrees away from highest temperature ever recorded here

For perspective, Tampa International Airport's all time high, for anytime during the year, is 99. Other places hit 100 or more at times, including just east of here, but we're close enough to water that we've never hit century mark in recorded history. Brandon (Vandenberg Airport), east of Tampa, actually hit 100 yesterday and 99 today. And it's still April! My power just flickered a little bit ago. I wonder if that was related to electricity usage today.

THIS ALSO BREAKS THE HIGHEST TEMPERATURE RECORDED FOR THE MONTH.
THE OLD RECORD WAS 94 DEGREES SET IN 1965, 1966, 1974, 1994,
AND 1999.
