Hope you're right about the money; don't really know how that stacks up, especially being it's not full time on the air. Maybe he just really wants more time at home with family. Who knows? Perhaps he'll talk about it some once he's (relatively) safely ensconced at TWC.
We depend a lot on TWC, though not quite as heavily as when they had decent radar (which we now rely on radar.weather.gov for; TWC's is just not accurate or detailed enough these days). Still, the local forecasts are helpful -- generally more accurate than local TV news -- and have long been one of the main reasons we wouldn't give up cable for satellite. |
