I knew a lot of science and climate things were likely to be in trouble, but maybe weather related things are too. We might get back to talk of having a private company provide the services, or at least some of the services, that the NWS does. I have not heard anything about that yet. There's so much about to change that maybe some things like that will get overlooked in the chaos.

Hopefully the NWS will not see too much change to critical weather monitoring and forecasting, even if there are changes in how climate related issues are handled.

It seemed bipartisan though. Has to still pass the House.
