Happy Thanksgiving to you and everyone too.

A small storm like this one could go one of two ways. It did both. There was shear that knocked it back down to a tropical storm briefly, with shear having more impact on it than a larger storm would have likely been impacted. Then I guess the shear backed off and it took off. There is no recon now so it is likely stronger than they are estimating. We may never know, but it might even become a category 4. It has a very impressive appearance.

I wondered if this area might be like the Bay of Campeche can be, especially for small storms. But I didn't expect anything this strong, or stronger.
