THURSDAY: 06-OCT-16 / 10:15AM CDT Next Full Update scheduled for FRIDAY OCT 7TH (Interim Updates later today and this evening)
If the eyewall remains 20NM offshore, a Storm Surge of 3 to 6 ft appears most likely from near West Palm Beach northward - with wind driven wave heights up to 25 ft. HOWEVER, if the eye comes onshore, expect a Storm Surge of 4-8 ft near and just north of where the eyewall comes on shore along with wind driven wave heights over 35 ft causing severe beach erosion and coastal flooding.
