That or they could think they have enough time to get back if it made landfall further north. (though depending on what the airports are like, perhaps that is unlikely) If they only plan for chasing in the U.S., it might not hit. Some of these other areas will be impacted, so they would at least see it once, if not twice if they get back. Of course TWC needs something on all the time but they don't need their meteorologists back immediately, they'll have plenty of others all along the U.S. East Coast if needed. |
