Hope everyone else made out well so far. More areas still to be impacted.

This was probably about tied for the second highest surge I have seen at my house. It has previously been around up to a half foot higher. I believe Frances in 2004 was the highest. It has just topped the seawall several times by an inch or two.

The water level was higher during the second high tide which occurred overnight. It was about one and a quarter feet lower perhaps when I went out to look at it. I could tell from the debris line where it go to. It was about an inch or two above it.

I took a look at security camera video at the front entrance to my neighborhood when it was light enough and could see it was partially flooded due to the tide. Water may have been 1 to 1.5 feet deep in places overnight at the entrance based on the level of the water then and how much it had dropped since high tide based on the nearest tide station. Sometimes we have more significant flooding there due to rain coming down too fast, but the rain yesterday was less than the day before and there was a lot of time for it to drain before the tide came up.

It has been breezy, but not too much wind. Highest sustained wind at the airport within a mile or two of me, 30 mph with gusts as high as 45mph. Less wind than a lot of recent storms here.
