So far today (Thursday) I have worked in the yard plating sod and played 18 holes. Had I listed to the local mets and the NWS, I would have spent the day hunkered down in my house watching re-runs. Charleston county has been giving out sand bags since 8:30 this morning!

As is always the case, Tropical systems do what the atmosphere says they will do. Not, what we want them to. According the NWS were were supposed to have heavy rains by 3-ish today and TS winds by tonight.

Since Hermine is taking its own sweet time hitching a ride on the trough, NWS is now saying tonight and Friday will suck!
