NOAA P-3 research missions occur every 12 hours, taking off from Tampa at 2am EDT and 2pm EDT. Usually those
missions have radar at HurricaneCity. Today's afternoon mission didn't release radar data until the mission was pretty
much over. And the mission also seemed to end early too. They did do one AXBT drop to measure the water
temperature:

Air Force mission departs tomorrow at 7:45am EDT, if necessary, to arrive around the possible center at about 10am
EDT. It's been several days of looking for an LLC each morning in a low level mission, then canceling the rest of the
day's Air Force missions and rescheduling one for the next morning to go looking again, in the daylight.

Meanwhile, in other research, there was the 24 hour Global Hawk mission around Gaston that ended early this
morning:

Another Global Hawk mission departing for Gaston at 6pm Friday from Virginia. 80 sondes planned.
