Yeah.

You know oddly this came together as I was trying to highlight female mets on the blog in the off season. I thought it was a good idea, little is known about many of the women on air. A lot of good mets who usually are 2nd and 3rd behind the A team. Often on early in the morning and many told me they enjoy that as they can go home and take care of their families. Working both ends so to speak not party girls.

But a pattern began to appear.. MSU MSU MSU until I began to talk more to them, ask some questions. Some are good, very "professional" so can't take that away cause they did the MSU online program but most the guys I know went to FSU, LSU, Oklahoma, Pitts, etc... the big met schools. In it from high school or before.. wanted to be a meteorologist, love weather, etc.

Some women mets are like that.... but many took a chance and did a weather segment and piggy backed on the communications degree... evolved.

Hard to think of a big market where the main weather person is a female.

Then again few in the forecasting department either at NHC tho many work in different high level jobs.

Just surprised me the MSU MSU MSU until one day someone gave someone a lecture on how important it is to be a Professional vs a weather enthusiast or weather geek online ?? and it turns out she's been doing weather for less than 4 years reading scripts put together by the lead met.

NOT ALL are like that.. just blew me away.

Men also get their online degree at MSU. They take anyone's money!

Yeah... mind blowing in ways. And then I looked at a loop and forgot about it.. til recently.
